Set in 15 acres of peaceful farmland in the picturesque village of Moorhouse (approximately two miles from Carlisle and a short distance from the Lake District National Park), we believe Stonehouse Cattery is the Premier Cattery in the Carlisle area.
Stonehouse Cattery is a family run business. In 2008 we bought the 18th Century farm house and decided to start a cattery. The site was previously used as an animal sanctury and there was alot of work to do converting several of the barns to quality cat apartments. Innes, Derek's son was a big help in the first few years of starting the business.
We are very proud with the results of our hard work and we hope you will be impressed. We have the facilities to care for and accommodate over 30 cats at any time. We have two large barns containing the main pet apartments and two luxury pet apartments.
